HAPPY LEFT HANDERS DAY!!!!!
AUGUST 13th IS OUR DAY

Watch this amusing video about being left-handed. You will see many difficulties we, left handers, have to face.

Mirá este video sobre “ser zurdo”. Verás muchas de las dificultades que los zurdos enfrentamos.

Subtitles will help you understand the video fully. You´ll be able to learn new terms, to refresh some terms you don´t remember clearly, and maybe you can use it to practice listening in English. If you are a teacher, you can use this video to give a special class about it. You can ask your students to
1) watch the video and say or write the difficulties left handers have
2) add any other thing they think left handers cope with
3) If there is a left handed student in the group, he can talk about this condition and everybody writes about it. They may even prepare a video about the difficulties mentioned.

Puedes pedirles a tus alumnos

I hope you enjoy this entry. Sweet regards, Annie

Would like to have at hand some phrases you can use in case you want to end up a conversation?

Have a look! I found them at learnex.in and hubspot.com

I am afraid I will have to take a leave

Actually, I have some people waiting for me

I am in a meeting right now, can I speak to you later?

Excuse me, but suddenly I don´t feel too well...

I am sorry but I have a prior commitment

I am afraid it won´t be possible. I have some place to be...

Sorry, but I have a meeting to attend

It´s been great catching up with you. Let´s exchange cards?

I have a question I wanted to ask the speaker before she/he leaves.

If there is something which will undoubtely help you learn, enjoy, improve and keep your English, that, is EXPOSURE.

Yes, the more you expose to English the more you´ll benefit yourself.

And if you let me tell you which two wonderful activities will help you with this "exposition", they are: reading and listening
And if there is an extraordinary website you can suscribe to and then just start enjoying, that is,
https://www.readlistenlearn.net/

Have a look at this!!
you will find different types of readings, all graded (that is, you are told what english level they are suitable for) and the corresponding audio file to the reading you choose.

Here´s a guide:

1) you suscribe to the page

2) you go into the page and you´ll see for example:

3) You choose what you want to read and listen and just click on it

4) Once you´ve clicked on your reading you´ll find something like this:

6) If you don´t want to read the PREVIEW, just go straight to the reading . At the very beginning you will  find a few lines about the author of the reading you´ve chosen

7) And finally, the reading itself. Start reading, enjoying and improving your English

Don´t you think it´s great? If you think so, leave a message for me. Thank you very much. See you soon!
