The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be special for many reasons.

For the first time in history, the World Cup will be played in three different countries: Canada, Mexico and the United States. It will also be the biggest World Cup ever, with 48 teams instead of 32.

Another interesting fact is that some countries will not be there. Russia remains suspended from international football because of the war in Ukraine, so it cannot take part in the tournament.

That means the 2026 World Cup will bring together new teams, new cities, and a completely new kind of football experience

Today we celebrate the animals who share our world and quietly transform our lives.

They teach us loyalty without conditions, joy in the simplest moments, and love that doesn’t need words. A look, a tail wag, a gentle purr — sometimes that is enough to feel understood.

But today is also a reminder: they depend on us. Our choices matter. Kindness matters. Protection matters.

May we be the voice for those who cannot speak, the hands that care, and the hearts that never look away.

Happy Animal Day.
