What's the best way to learn vocabulary?

Many learners ask for word lists.

But vocabulary becomes memorable when we find it in real life.

Recently, I was reading an article about Nvidia's new AI chips and came across the word:

backlog
(work or orders waiting to be completed – acumulación de tareas o pedidos pendientes)

I don't think I had ever used it before, but the context made its meaning clear.

That's often how vocabulary sticks:
not when we memorise it, but when we discover it in context.

This week, become a language detective.

Can you find one interesting word in an article, podcast or video?
