Stories Matter.

History is often told by the people who had the power to write it. But what about the voices that were left out?

This date invites us to look at our past from different points of view, recognise the cultures that were already living on these lands, and understand that our identity is more diverse than we sometimes realise.

Learning about different perspectives doesn't change the past. It changes the way we understand it.

La historia suele contarse desde la perspectiva de quienes tuvieron el poder de escribirla. Pero ¿qué ocurre con las voces que quedaron fuera del relato?

Esta fecha nos invita a mirar nuestro pasado con más preguntas, reconocer las culturas que ya habitaban estas tierras y comprender que nuestra identidad es mucho más diversa de lo que a veces imaginamos.
